I’ve begun to wonder, then, if I’m not making the same mistake with other things that I once made with Animal Crossing. Ultimately, I approach blogging the same way I would Animal Crossing, a slow and measured rhythm with long term goals of my own design. On top of that, forward progress on those metrics is very quickly undone when you break routine. If I tried to use metrics such as page views, likes, or whatnot to measure my success, I would be very quickly frustrated. I can only write so much in a given day and my goals are largely personal and process-driven. If I tried to use the hyperfocus to any length, I would very quickly burn out. I’m shifting my focus somewhat to blogging, for a second. I have grown quite adept at overcoming the latter part of the problem, but typically weaponize the former.
It helps that I read both of Naithin’s posts back to back.Ī case could be made that I generally reach that burnout point because I approach an activity “the wrong way.” I have a long and distinguished history of hyperfocused attention and research followed disappointment when my initial effort does not live up to my expectations. Otherwise, just enjoy running around Pandora and opening every single lootable thing to kill time. We would recommend taking on Graveward ( we have a guide for that too) because it’s a straightforward boss fight and pretty painless to farm if that’s your chosen method. You can actually get this weapon from pretty much any loot source – that means that you can dig it out of a bandit’s toilet, a chest somewhere, or get it from farming whichever boss you think is the easiest to kill. Yes, no need to run around Pandora looking for some idiot with a shield that reflects bullets back at you. The good news is that you don’t actually have to kill a particular corresponding enemy to get it. If you’re wanting to pick up the Hyperfocus XZ41, though, we’ve got some good news and some bad news for you. Plenty of Easter egg weapons and items will require you to take down baddies that want to blow your head off, so this is definitely a recommended (if niche) pick-up for enthusiastic Vault Hunters. That being said, the weapon does suffer from an overall damage decrease but we reckon it’s worth it to keep yourself mostly projected from the Psychos that go shoot in the night. This shotgun has a shield that reflects bullets, which is honestly useful as hell if you’re looking at knocking out any rare spawn that’s humanoid enough to go Rambo on you. Essentially, it’s cool because it reflects bullets back at your enemies.
